Ford Self Test Functions:

When you select the Self Test button on the startup screen, the
program will bring up the Self Test window. You will choose the engine type,
Gasoline or Diesel, then select a test to run and click the Run Test button. The
selected thest will run and the results will be displayed in the Test results
section as shown in the figure. If you select a test which can not be run due to
entry condition, the you will get the following results:
Ford vehicles have
several self tests available, depening on the engine type. Gasoline and flexfuel
vehicles have two tests, the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and Key On Engine Running
(KOER). The Deisel engines also have those two and two more:
